Stitched Up- Herbie Hancock feat. John Mayerno windsurfing this week! booo.
i had a taste of superstar geekdom when i visited the WCG at suntec. it was GREAT. it doesn't matter if you're a gaming amateur or pro, because watching those fantastic plays is going to be enough to hype you up.
i think the best was the Counterstrike game, singapore VS korea. the singaporean Titans had a landslide victory! they won 14 out of 30 rounds
in a row. plus the korean team was
third at the WCG last year. i was just agape throughout. so good! a real eye opener i must say.
the unfortunate bit?
i was possibly the only female who didn't go because of some boyfriend. i went with boys who didn't treat me like a girl. HAHA. yeah.
after that, more counterstrike. the actual thing. i got owned, seriously. and ridiculed at. i was so bloody embarrassed but i stubbornly refused to give up. i died 27 times and only managed to kill 2 people in the first round.
well, such games need extra training.
i wish i can go windsurfing now. sigh. i'll prolly spend saturday
at the gym
reading a book (i WILL finish the Unbearable Lightness of Being)
at church.i'm the kind of person who never knows her plans until for certain until the day it's suppose to happen. it works better for me that way. like, expecting to go windsurfing but ending up not going, getting all hyped up about plans the day before, only to find it cancelled or totally unlike how i imagine it to be.
that's why i've decided that spontaneity is the best way to live such a life.
i'm even bad at organizing small parties, because i'll want things to happen exactly the way it should, only i don't know how it
should happen, so i'll usually frustrate myself to bits.
no wonder i'm such a messed-up schizophrenic.
Stitched up, out of my mind
Feeling strung out, laggin’ behind
All trapped in, can’t do a thing because I’m
Locked down
Stitched up, feeling the burn
All strung out, I finally learn that
Trapped in you can’t do a thing because you’re
Locked down
